Beginning Salary: $37,064.35 ($17.47/HR)

Starting a career with the Fire Department of Campbell County has been nothing short of great. Having grown up in Gillette, I never thought one day I would work in the fire service. After starting as a volunteer in South Dakota I knew I wanted to do this full time. Moving back to Gillette brought some change for the better. I began as a volunteer at CCFD then was able to get on full-time. Being able to give something great to a strong community is why we do it every day.
